Training to become a guide: The Wildflowers Cohort

In partnership with

(opens in a new tab)

Join a first-of-its-kind cohort and help shape what forest therapy can become. You'll work toward your ANFT Nature and Forest Therapy Guide certification while learning in a community where your language, culture, and way of being are at the center. For Deaf and Disabled participants, this means training without barriers. For hearing allies, it means learning from the community. Together, you'll build lasting friendships, mentorship, and a network of guides committed to access and belonging. Like wildflowers taking root in new ground, you'll grow at your own pace and carry this work into your community, because nature is for everyone.

Which are you?

Priority and language access To our knowledge, this is the only Nature and Forest Therapy guide training taught entirely in ASL. Priority is given to Deaf applicants and those who work closely with the Deaf community.

Online sessions on Zoom are taught in ASL with an interpreter available. In-person immersions are taught in ASL only, so participants need conversational signing skills.
